One of the unique features of my MK60 emulators are to emulate with an mss54/mss54hp in the system, i.e. with only the IKE missing. So far, a requirement has been "mss54 with EWS deleted", since the IKE act as a gateway between the mss54 and the EWS.
No longer so. A new version of the MK60 emulator is made with IKE-gateway function. The MK60 emulator now supports the mss54/mss54hp with EWS enabled. While the atMega328p-au microprocessor has been used so far, the atMega1284p-mu is used in the new version. Support for EWS required serving both the DBus and KBus, and hence a change in the hardware was necessary. With two serial interfaces on-chip, the atMega1284p-mu was a perfect match.
airVentDisplay by racing-IOT emerged as a result from a pure enthusiast driven project, based on the need for displaying and logging data from the E46 CAN bus related to track day/race events.
