The installation of modules to be used in the airVentDisplay technology ecosystem has been done by either stripping cables and soldering or using posi tap connectors. To ease the installation process, a JunctionBox is made.
The JunctionBox is installed using original BMW Steering Angle Sensor (LWS) connectors. Simply de-attach the connector in the LWS, plug it into the JunctionBox, and finally plug the JuctionBox into the LWS.
The JunctionBox can take up to six modules, and distributes CANH, CANL, DBUS, K/IBUS, +12V and GND to the attached modules.

airVentDisplay by racing-IOT emerged as a result from a pure enthusiast driven project, based on the need for displaying and logging data from the E46 CAN bus related to track day/race events.
