Description
The HW for dual CAN solutions is a flexible design that not only can handle all the tasks that the Single CAN HW (MK60 emulation, KBUS interface, LED, PushButton etc), but is also able to act as a CAN gateway. E.g. one can run 500kbit/s CAN on one channel and 1Mbit/s CAN on the other. It is also possible to combine data from the E46 CAN bus and retransmit them on the other bus in custom CAN messages at 1 Mbit/s in order to e.g. interface AiM hardware etc.
