The airVent Display package for the BMW E46 M3 contains a 3.5" TFT touch screen HMI emdedded into the air vent housing. The airVent Display is assumed connected to a CAN bus; either the stock E46 CAN bus or, optionally, to a separate CAN bus, where the E46 CAN messages are mirrored to. Included in the package is also a KBUS2CAN module, whos purpouse is to extract data only available on the KBUS and retransmit those data onto the CAN bus. The airVent Display contains only the hardware, and as a minimum the GUI Basic software package is additionally needed.
